Terms of Use
These terms constitute the Contract made between ‘you’, The Purchaser, and ‘us’ FOOTSEYS.
General Terms
The terms and conditions below apply to all purchases made on FOOTSEYS web site. You offer to buy the Goods at the price and delivery charges displayed on our website at the time we receive your order.
We will check your order and, if accepted by us, confirm by email or letter the details of the order. If we find an error in prices we will contact you to reconfirm the order at the correct price, or you can cancel the order. If we cannot contact you after 7 days we will treat the order as cancelled, not charge you, and notify you of this.
Payment
Payment is due before we manufacture the goods. We take your card details when you place the order and it is accepted. We only accept orders placed on the web site with payment by specific credit or debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta and Switch. We will validate the products, your card details and the delivery timescales before accepting your order. Payment can also be made by cheque or BACS for orders sent by post or fax.
Delivery
Delivery will be made by our courier to your address. Please allow 28 days for delivery on standard orders to UK & Ireland addresses. Please contact us to get a quote to other countries. We will use reasonable efforts to deliver within our quoted time frame, but delivery dates can not be guaranteed.
Product Details
We will make every effort to ensure that our product descriptions, prices, colours and sizes are correct. Due to different settings used on computers, printers etc, the colour reproduction of products may vary. All sizes given are approximate.
Our Guarantee & Returns
If for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, or the goods are damaged, we will offer you either a refund or replacement. You must notify us of your complaint, by email, letter, telephone or fax within 7 working days of receipt of your Goods. In any event, you may not cancel if the Goods were customised for you e.g. customers own fabric.
The goods must be returned to us within 21 days of receipt, in their original condition and packing, and with the delivery note and returns form completed. Returning the Goods is at your risk and cost, so please ensure that the Goods are safely packed and labelled to avoid damage and loss in transit. This does not affect your statutory rights.
After we receive the Goods, we will credit the original card as used for the purchase with the refund, or send you a refund by cheque. If you do not return the Goods to us, or they are lost in transit you are liable for the cost.
Taxes & Duties abroad
We are not aware of the taxes and laws in your country of residence. You will be fully responsible for all import duties and taxes applicable in your country of residence.
Intellectual Property Rights
Our stool designs are all registered to us, you can verify our design rights by visiting the Intellectual Property Office (part of the Patent Office) at www.ipo.gov.uk. Our design registration numbers are HEART 4010775, Yin Yang 4010776, Trio 4011101 and Quad 4010777. European design rights are pending.
You may download and copy details of Content from the web site, provided it is solely for your personal use and you maintain all copyright and Content notices. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, publish or create derivative works from the Content. We will pursue and protect our design rights in all Countries.
Liability
Our maximum liability for any claim against us, in any event, will be limited to the original value of the goods supplied by us.
General
Footseys may change these terms from time to time without notice. No order will be binding on you or Footseys until accepted by us. Goods ordered will become your property when they are paid for in full.
The products sold by us for use in the United Kingdom, and all sales are covered by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Delivery
Delivery is by courier to UK mainland only and is free as it is included in our recommended retail price. We are happy to quote for delivery to outside of the UK.
We strongly advise that when delivery is made and BEFORE you sign for it, that you unpack the stool to ensure it has not been damaged in transit, if it has please sign as damaged or refuse to accept delivery, and contact us.
Security
Naturally we make security of your details a top priority, and to this end our website designers have used the latest software in the design of our web site. Furthermore we do not pass on your details to any third party for marketing purposes.
